We use 18, 22 and 24 gauge .925 sterling silver pendants for a thick sturdy stamping foundation and 1.5mm to 2.0mm 16"-18" sterling silver beaded chain or decorative Sterling Chain for the Sterling stamps. For all other materials we use accordingly. Each item can be purchased as a necklace or as a pendant, you choose when ordering.

Chain sizes to choose from will be 16" to 24"!

THE ARTIST PROCESS

Each and every piece is hand crafted and, when indicated, hand stamped. My signature pieces are original LLJ or Jiggy Js designs entirely fabricated by our artist in our studio.

Each piece begins as a flat blank of sterling, copper, brass or nickel. After the pieces are individually stamped they are oxidized to give them the antiqued/tarnished look and in order to accentuate the text. Since this process is entirely hand crafted there will be differences in both the base metal texture and the finish of each piece. Please note that the differences and “imperfections” such as floating letters, raised areas, and sanding marks are part of the beauty and originality of the piece and are intentional and should not be considered defects.

Photos of our signature pieces in my listings may show a representation of the piece that you will receive. Since the pieces are part of our master collection, we do not normally change the photo for every piece that we sell. There will be slight differences in the piece that you receive compared to the piece in the photograph. You have my guarantee that each and every piece that leaves our studio will be given the same attention as that of the one pictured. Thank you for understanding, and appreciating the unique handmade nature of each piece – truly there will be no two exactly alike. 






                   

             


      
                    

***As with all hand stamped jewelry, the lettering may not always line up perfectly straight. Hand stamping is a very time consuming and tedious process. Every letter is hand stamped, therefore, each letter or name may have slight variations in depth, alignment, and spacing. This should not be seen as a defect, but rather as charm and character added to your one-of-a-kind hand crafted piece!***

Fonts used will be uppercase and lowercase as well as decorative stamping.  If you have a phrase you want stamped you can choose uppercase or lowercase or a mixture of both.  We would, of course, make suggestions to you if we feel the phrase would look better in one form or another so that you get the best service. 

We offer numerous different font sizes and styles including the economy lettering in uppercase, lowercase and numbers.  We will use what is either shown in photo when you place the order or what works and looks the best.  If you want a particular font, please let us know and we will evaluate your item and let you know whether it would fit and look great together.
